Coke breeze refers to the product obtained by crushing and screening raw coke with particles smaller than 10 mm (undersize of 10 mm sieve). Depending on industry demand, coke breeze can also be prepared in the 0-15 mm range. Therefore products within the 0-15 mm range may also be considered as coke breeze.
Usage in Electric Arc Furnaces:
Coke breeze provides significant advantages in the steel production process within electric arc furnaces. This product can reduce casting time, lower energy consumption and enhance productivity. As a carburizing agent in steel production, it plays an effective role in adjusting the final carbon level during the final stages of steelmaking to meet carbon content requirements.
Usage in the Chemical Industry:
Coke breeze also holds an important place in the chemical industry. It is used in preparing auxiliary materials for sodium hydride production and functions as a conductive heat carrier in boiling reaction furnaces. Additionally coke breeze is utilized in the production of fundamental chemical raw materials, such as supplying high purity carbon monoxide (CO) in the chemical industry.
